Shot some photos of the High ollie contest. I took to many photos early on and didn't get any shot of the very end. All in all it was fun and I got a few good pictures. Check the video Ando put ttogether at the bottom.
Shot a few paper negatives in the Kodak last month trying to figure out the exposure time. Also wanted to see if I could get some decent images with it. These scans came out pretty good, just very contrasty. Going to try out some printing filters and see how it goes.
So I haven't been posting anything but I haven't given up. I haven't been shooting as much as I should have been. I have also been putting off the developing until my photo class started because its been so cold in my apartment I stay in the two rooms that are heated. I started last week but we have finally had access to the dark room. Now all I need is a decent scanner. So no photos for now. Next week it will be on and poppin.
Found this photo I got from Brad Westcott a while back. It was awesome to get a photo in the mail. I was really surprised. I didn't think anyone would send me a photo from the print exchange. I had to search him on the ol google too, check out his flickr. A lot of cool skate flicks. Tons of good photos in general. Putting one in the mail for him today, before I forget.
My resolution for this year is to take at least one large format picture a day, six days out of the week. Leaving myself a day off to chill but most likely to process and post. That didn't happen though. Week one was ruff, cold, and nocternal but some how I was able to snap a few photos. I took two 9x12 photos I haven't developed yet and the rest on 120 film with awesome scans.
Just because I'm kinda blowing it with my new year resolution so far does not mean I'm throwing in the towel. I'm just giving myself a chance to get in the grove.
